The Business Administration Diploma program provides students with a broad understanding of business practices. The one-year diploma in Business Administration will provide graduates with foundational business and professional skills. The program is designed to give graduates a developed portfolio of job-ready skills and a wide range of business principles and concepts to expand the graduate’s career options.
Completion Requirements:In order to successfully graduate, students are required to:
- Complete each course/module in the program with a 70% or higher marks;
- Have paid all dues (money owed) in full to the College;
Note: This program is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP).
Program Duration: 880 Hours. 44 Weeks.

English Language Proficiency Requirements
In addition to the admission requirements listed above, must also meet one or more of the following language proficiency requirements:
- Evidence that 3 years of full-time secondary education (Grades 8-12), or 2 years if the Grades are 10, 11, or 12, have been successfully completed in the program’s language of instruction in a country where the language of instruction is one of the principal languages. OR
- Completion of 2 years of full-time post-secondary education at an accredited institution where English is the language of instruction. See Appendix A for the list of approved countries. OR
- Provide verified results for one of the English language proficiency tests listed below. Test results must be dated no more than two years before the start date of the program.
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Minimum overall score of 5.5
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) IBT: Minimum overall score of 46
- Canadian Academic English Language Assessment (CAEL): Minimum overall score of 40
- Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP): Listening 6, Speaking 6, Reading 5, and Writing 5.
- Duolingo English Test (DET): Minimum overall score of 95
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Minimum overall score of 43
- Cambridge English Qualifications: B2 First exam (FCE) or higher: Minimum overall score of 160 or “C”
- Cambridge Linguaskill: Minimum overall B2 level
- LANGUAGECERT Academic: Minimum overall B2 level
- The Michigan English Test (MET): Minimum overall B2 level
- iTEP Academic: Minimum overall score of 3.5
- EIKEN: Minimum placement of Grade Pre-1

Upon completion of this program, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
- Record, analyze, and report financial transactions for service and merchandising operations, including account cycles, cash management, receivables, inventory, and financial statement preparation.
- Apply Canadian managerial principles related to organizational structure, strategy, operations, leadership, and decision-making.
- Use spreadsheet and database applications to design, manage, and analyze data, including the use of macros, queries, reports, and pivot tables.
- Demonstrate an understanding of Canadian micro- and macro-economic frameworks, including supply and demand, economic indicators, fiscal and monetary policy, and market structures.
- Apply marketing concepts, tools, and techniques to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Use financial management principles to assess organizational financial health, including financial ratios, leverage, working capital, and projections.
- Apply advanced accounting concepts related to assets, liabilities, depreciation, intangible assets, partnerships, corporate transactions, and applicable sales taxes.
- Identify, analyze, and apply ethical principles and frameworks to business decisions in legal, social, technological, and global contexts.
- Evaluate corporate social responsibility, sustainability, stakeholder theory, and their relationship to leadership, governance, and organizational culture.
- Demonstrate professional judgment, integrity, and critical thinking by proposing ethically sound solutions to complex business scenarios.
